世界创新大会简介

世界创新大会(WIC)创办于2017年，是为贯彻落实习近平主席关于创新发展重要讲话重要指示精神搭建的国际平台。大会主旨是“服务国家创新发展，促进国际创新交流合作，让创新更好地造福人类”；愿景是“立足中国，面向世界，致力打造具有全球影响力的国际创新交流合作平台和国际创新标杆盛会，努力成为链接全球政界、工商界、科学界的桥梁和纽带”。

世界创新大会前身是2017年创办的“中国创新大会”和2018年创办的“创新全球论坛”，2019年起更名为“世界创新大会”。大会秉承创新、开放、合作、共赢的精神，坚持公益性和长期主义，实行国际化、市场化、专业化的运营机制，理事会、咨询委员会和董事会共商共建的管理发展模式。

多年来，大会得到了国家有关部委和广东省委省政府的指导和大力支持。经过九年的精心培育和发展，世界创新大会已成功举办八届年度盛会，以及中国创新大会、创新全球论坛等国际性会议，来自100多个国家和地区的政府官员、国际组织负责人、工商界领袖、科学家、青年科学家和学者等9000多名嘉宾出席会议。近百位重要嘉宾在大会作主旨演讲，签署了一系列科技创新与经贸投资合作协议，取得了丰硕成果，国内国际影响力不断增强。

目前，世界创新大会已与100多个国家、地区政府部门和国际组织建立了良好的联系；与200多家跨国企业、创新领军企业和科研院所建立了合作伙伴关系；汇聚了300多位全球顶尖科学家、企业家、青年科学家和学者资源；融合了会议交流、创新合作、产业投资、智库咨询、创新生态系统指数发布、资源对接、创新成果交易服务等功能，为大会理事会员和各国政府、企业不断提供丰富而有价值的创新服务。

世界创新大会每年将在中国举办全球年会，并同期举办助推科技、产业、经济及创新治理等领域的创新论坛（如：人工智能与机器人创新论坛、汽车与智能驾驶创新论坛、生命科学与医疗健康创新论坛、青年科学家论坛等），协同国际顶尖智库研究发布《全球创新生态系统指数》蓝皮书，评选世界创新奖、创新人物奖、创新商业领袖奖、创新青年领袖奖，发布世界创新企业500强、中国创新企业500强排行榜等。

同时，大会将不定期在全球选择具有创新活力和竞争力的城市举办区域性国际创新会议（如：世界创新大会香港峰会、美国峰会、瑞士峰会、新加坡峰会、沙特峰会、肯尼亚峰会等）。持续举办中国与其它国家和地区的经贸合作交流活动，对接技术产业与金融投资的研讨会，面向社会公众开放的创新公益讲堂，围绕青年科学家及青年企业家的交流会等活动。在非洲、拉丁美洲等地区开展“科技创新”和“社会创新”援助计划。携手全球政界、科学界、工商界和媒体界代表共同参与全球创新治理重构，探索未来创新。通过各方共同努力，致力于在2030年将世界创新大会打造成为具有全球影响力的国际创新交流合作平台和国际创新盛会。

Introduction to the World Innovation Conference

The World Innovation Conference (WIC) was established in 2017 as an international platform to implement the important speeches and instructions of President Xi Jinping on innovative development. The conference's mission is “to promote international innovation exchange and cooperation, and to better benefit humanity through innovation”; its vision is “to be rooted in China, reach out to the world, and strive to build an international innovation exchange and cooperation platform and an international innovation benchmark event with global influence, and to become a bridge and link between the global political, business, and scientific communities.”

WIC originated from the “China Innovation Conference” established in 2017 and the “Innovation Global Forum” established in 2018, and was renamed the “World Innovation Conference” starting in 2019. The conference upholds the spirit of innovation, openness, cooperation, and mutual benefit, adheres to public welfare and long-termism, and implements an internationalized, market-oriented, and professionalized operational mechanism. It adopts a management and development model where the Board of Directors, Advisory Committee, and Board of Trustees collaborate and co-build.

Through nine years of dedicated cultivation and strategic development, WIC has successfully held eight annual grand gatherings, along with international conferences such as the China Innovation Conference and the Global Innovation Forum. These events have brought together over 9,000 distinguished participants from more than 100 countries and regions, comprising government dignitaries, heads of international institutions, business leaders, eminent scientists, emerging young researchers, and renowned scholars. Nearly a hundred prominent guests have delivered keynote speeches at the conferences. A series of agreements on scientific and technological innovation as well as economic, trade, and investment cooperation were signed, yielding abundant results. This consistent track record has significantly enhanced WIC's domestic and international prominence.

At present, WIC has established good connections with government departments and international organizations from over 100 countries and regions. It has also forged partnerships with more than 200 multinational corporations, leading innovative enterprises, and research institutions. Moreover, it has gathered resources from over 300 top-tier global scientists, entrepreneurs, young scientists, and scholars. Integrating functions including conference exchanges, innovation cooperation, industrial investment, think tank advisory services, release of innovation ecosystem indices, resource matching, and trading services for innovation achievements, the conference continuously provides rich and valuable innovation services to its Council members, as well as governments and enterprises around the world.

WIC will hold its annual global conference in China each year, concurrently hosting innovation forums in fields such as science and technology, industry, economy, and innovation governance (e.g., Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Innovation Forum, Automotive and Intelligent Driving Innovation Forum, Life Sciences and Healthcare Innovation Forum, Young Scientists Forum, etc.). It will collaborate with leading international think tanks to research and publish the Blue Book on the Global Innovation Ecosystem Index, and award the World Innovation Award, Innovation Personality Award, Innovative Business Leader Award, and Innovative Young Leader Award, and publish rankings such as the World Top 500 Innovative Enterprises and China Top 500 Innovative Enterprises.

Additionally, WIC will periodically host regional international innovation conferences in cities worldwide that demonstrate innovative vitality and competitiveness (e.g., the World Innovation Conference Hong Kong Summit, U.S. Summit, Swiss Summit, Singapore Summit, Saudi Arabia Summit, and Kenya Summit). It will continue to organize economic and trade cooperation and exchange activities between China and other countries and regions, seminars on the integration of technology industries and financial investment, innovation public welfare lectures open to the general public, and exchange meetings for young scientists and young entrepreneurs. It will also implement “Science and Technology Innovation” and “Social Innovation” assistance programs in regions such as Africa and Latin America. Collaborate with representatives from the global political, scientific, business, and media sectors to jointly participate in the reconstruction of global innovation governance and explore future innovation. Through the collective efforts of all parties, strive to establish the World Innovation Conference as a globally influential international innovation exchange and cooperation platform and a premier international innovation event by 2030.
