世界创新大会简介

世界创新大会（World Innovation Congress, WIC）成立于2017年，是为贯彻习近平主席关于创新发展重要论述重要讲话精神搭建的国际平台。大会以“服务国家创新发展、促进国际创新合作，让创新更好地造福人类”为宗旨，秉持“创新、开放、合作、共享”的精神，通过国际化、市场化、专业化的机制，致力于构建立足中国、面向全球的创新生态枢纽，打造具有广泛影响力的国际标杆盛会，为政府、企业、科研机构及国际组织提供深度交流与战略合作的桥梁。

九年来，世界创新大会在国家有关部委和广东省委、省政府的持续指导与大力支持下，已成功举办八届全球年会及系列国际会议，累计吸引100多个国家和地区超过10000名嘉宾参会，包括政府高层、国际组织代表、顶尖科学家、知名企业家和杰出青年学者，300余位权威嘉宾发表演讲，推动达成多项重大科技创新与产业投资合作，取得丰硕成果，国内国际影响力持续提升。

目前，WIC已与全球100多个国家、地区及国际组织建立合作关系，与200余家跨国企业、创新型领军企业和科研机构达成战略合作，汇聚300多位全球专家资源，构建起集国际会议、智库研究、产业对接、成果转化和创新评价于一体的全方位创新服务体系，为全球创新参与者提供从思想碰撞到项目落地的全链条、高价值支持。大会发起的“世界创新大奖”“世界创新企业500强”和“全球城市创新竞争力100强”等国际评价体系，已成为全球创新领域具有重要影响的指标。

WIC每年在中国举办全球年会，并同期举办科技、经济、人工智能、生命科学与健康医疗、农业、教育、能源、资本、文化等行业创新前沿论坛及成果展示。未来，WIC将定期在全球创新活力城市举办区域峰会，包括香港、美国、瑞士、新加坡、沙特、肯尼亚等系列会议，并组织开展国际经贸合作对接、投融资研讨、创新公益讲堂、杰出青年交流等多种活动。大会将持续在非洲、拉美等地推进“科技与社会创新援助计划”，通过创新方案解决当地发展挑战。

Introduction to the World Innovation Congress

The World Innovation Congress (WIC), established in 2017, is an international platform dedicated to fostering global innovation collaboration and ensuring innovation better serves humanity. Guided by the core principles of “innovation, openness, collaboration, and sharing,” the Congress operates through internationalized, market-oriented, and professional mechanisms. It strives to establish an innovation ecosystem hub rooted in China and oriented toward the world, creating a globally influential international benchmark event. WIC serves as a bridge for in-depth exchanges and strategic cooperation among governments, enterprises, research institutions, and international organizations.

Over the past nine years, under the continuous guidance and strong support of relevant national ministries and commissions, as well as the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, the World Innovation Conference has successfully hosted eight global annual meetings and a series of international conferences. These events have cumulatively attracted over 10,000 distinguished guests from more than 100 countries and regions, including high-level government officials, representatives of international organizations, leading scientists, renowned entrepreneurs, and outstanding young scholars. Over 300 authoritative speakers have delivered presentations, driving the realization of numerous major scientific and technological innovation projects and industrial investment collaborations. These efforts have yielded substantial outcomes, with the conference's domestic and international influence steadily growing.

Currently, WIC has established cooperative relationships with over 100 countries, regions, and international organizations worldwide. It has formed strategic partnerships with more than 200 multinational corporations, innovative leading enterprises, and research institutions, gathering resources from over 300 global experts. This has built a comprehensive innovation service system integrating international conferences, think tank research, industrial matchmaking, achievement transformation, and innovation evaluation, providing full-chain, high-value support for global innovation participants—from idea exchange to project implementation. The international evaluation systems initiated by the conference, including the “World Innovation Awards,” “World's Top 500 Innovative Enterprises,” and “Global Top 100 Cities for Innovation Competitiveness,” have become influential benchmarks in the global innovation landscape.

WIC hosts its annual global conference in China each year, concurrently organizing cutting-edge forums and achievement exhibitions across sectors such as technology, economics, artificial intelligence, life sciences and healthcare, agriculture, education, energy, capital, and culture. Moving forward, WIC will regularly convene regional summits in globally dynamic innovation cities, including Hong Kong, the United States, Switzerland, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and Kenya. These gatherings will feature diverse activities such as international economic cooperation matchmaking, investment and financing seminars, innovation public lectures, and exchanges for outstanding youth. The conference will continue advancing its “Science, Technology, and Social Innovation Assistance Program” in Africa, Latin America, and other regions, addressing local development challenges through innovative solutions.
