世界创新大会概况

世界创新大会（World Innovation Congress，WIC）创立于2017年，是以“探索未来、推动创新、促进全球合作”为主旨的国际平台。WIC以“构建全球创新共同体，让创新造福人类”为使命，立足中国、连接世界，致力于成为政界、科学界、工商界及国际组织之间开展深度交流与务实合作的重要桥梁。

WIC前身为2017年创办的“中国创新大会”（China Innovation Congress，CIC）和2018年创办的“创新全球论坛”（Innovation Global Forum，IGF），于2019年整合升级为“世界创新大会”（WIC），永久总部设于粤港澳大湾区。

WIC秉持“创新、开放、包容、合作、共赢”的核心精神，坚守“公益性优先、长期主义”的发展理念，依托国际化、市场化、专业化的运作机制，形成理事会决策、战略咨询委员会建言、秘书处执行的治理与运行体系，构建起涵盖国际会议、智库研究、产业对接、成果转化、创新评价的全链条综合服务体系。世界创新大会有限公司作为WIC的专业运营承办机构，为大会持续发展提供运营保障。

自创立以来，WIC已连续举办九届全球年会及系列专题国际会议，累计吸引来自全球100多个国家和地区的嘉宾超万人次，包括政府官员、国际组织代表、科学家、企业家及青年学者等。会议议题广泛涵盖科技、经济、人工智能、生命科学、能源、教育、农业、先进制造、资本与文化等领域，形成了一系列具有前瞻性的会议共识、研究成果与产业合作成果。

在持续深化会议交流的同时，WIC积极推动全球创新协作和产学研用深度融合，促进科技成果与产业需求对接，并在跨国创新资源联动、跨境技术合作和国际创新生态建设等方面积累了实践经验，推动全球创新共同体建设由理念倡议逐步走向务实行动。

WIC已与全球100多个国家和地区的政府机构、国际组织、科研机构及企业建立广泛联系与合作，逐步构建起跨区域、跨领域、跨学科的全球创新协作网络。这一网络以多主体参与、多领域协同、多区域联动为特征，构成WIC推进全球创新共同体建设的重要基础。

WIC不断完善以全球年会为核心，由国际专题会议、创新成果展示、创新评价、产业合作与公共交流等共同构成的年度活动体系，持续提升国际影响力和资源整合能力。

面向未来，WIC将持续推进全球化布局，拓展跨区域创新对话与协作网络，加强与各国政府、国际组织、科研机构、企业及各类创新主体的合作，并围绕人工智能、可持续发展、公共卫生、粮食安全等全球共同议题深化交流与合作，推动创新合作更好服务经济社会发展与人类共同未来。

WIC将进一步深化全球创新共同体建设，促进创新资源更加开放、高效地连接与流动，推动创新知识与成果更广泛地共享，让创新更好造福世界各国人民。

Overview of the World Innovation Congress

The World Innovation Congress (WIC), founded in 2017, is an international platform guided by the principles of exploring the future, advancing innovation, and promoting global cooperation. With the mission of “building a global innovation community and enabling innovation to benefit humanity,” WIC is based in China, connects with the world, and aspires to serve as an important bridge for in-depth dialogue and practical cooperation among governments, the scientific community, the business community, and international organizations.

WIC evolved from the China Innovation Congress (CIC), founded in 2017, and the Innovation Global Forum (IGF), founded in 2018. The two initiatives were integrated and upgraded into the World Innovation Congress in 2019, with its permanent headquarters established in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.

WIC upholds “innovation, openness, inclusiveness, cooperation, and mutual benefit” as its core values and remains steadfast in its development philosophy of “putting the public interest first and embracing long-termism.” Through an international, market-oriented, and professional operating model, it has established a governance and operational structure in which the Governing Council makes decisions, the Strategic Advisory Council provides advice, and the Secretariat oversees implementation. WIC has also developed an integrated, end-to-end service system encompassing international conferences, think tank research, industry engagement, commercialization of innovation outcomes, and innovation assessment. World Innovation Congress Co., Ltd. serves as WIC’s professional operating and organizing entity, providing operational support for its continued development.

Since its founding, WIC has convened nine Annual Meetings as well as a series of international thematic conferences, welcoming guests from over 100 countries and regions, with cumulative attendance exceeding 10,000. Participants have included government officials, representatives of international organizations, scientists, entrepreneurs, and young scholars. Its conference agendas have covered a broad range of fields, including science and technology, the economy, artificial intelligence, life sciences, energy, education, agriculture, advanced manufacturing, capital, and culture, helping build forward-looking consensus and generating research outputs and industry collaboration outcomes.

Alongside its continued efforts to deepen dialogue and exchange, WIC actively promotes global innovation collaboration and closer integration among industry, academia, research, and application. It facilitates connections between scientific and technological achievements and industry needs, and has accumulated practical experience in linking innovation resources across countries, advancing cross-border technology cooperation, and building an international innovation ecosystem. Through these efforts, WIC is helping translate the vision of a global innovation community into practical action.

WIC has established extensive connections and cooperation with government institutions, international organizations, research institutions, and enterprises across more than 100 countries and regions. It has progressively developed a global innovation collaboration network that spans regions, sectors, and disciplines. Characterized by the participation of diverse stakeholders, cross-sector collaboration, and interregional coordination, this network provides an important foundation for WIC’s efforts to advance the global innovation community.

Centered on its Annual Meeting, WIC continues to strengthen a year-round program of activities comprising international thematic conferences, showcases of innovation achievements, innovation assessment, industrial cooperation, and public engagement, thereby enhancing its international influence and capacity to connect and mobilize resources.

Looking ahead, WIC will continue to expand its global presence and strengthen cross-regional dialogue and collaboration on innovation. It will deepen cooperation with governments, international organizations, research institutions, enterprises, and other innovation stakeholders worldwide. WIC will also promote dialogue and cooperation on shared global challenges, including artificial intelligence, sustainable development, public health, and food security, enabling innovation cooperation to better serve socioeconomic development and humanity’s shared future.

WIC will further advance the development of the global innovation community, facilitate more open and efficient connections and flows of innovation resources, and promote the broader sharing of innovation knowledge and achievements, so that innovation can better benefit people around the world.
