世界创新大会简介

世界创新大会（World Innovation Congress, WIC）成立于2017年，是为贯彻习近平主席关于创新发展重要论述重要讲话精神搭建的国际高端平台。大会以“服务国家创新发展、促进国际创新合作，让创新更好地造福人类”为宗旨，秉持“创新、开放、合作、共享”的核心精神，通过国际化、市场化、专业化的运作机制，致力于构建立足中国、面向全球的创新生态枢纽，打造具有广泛影响力的国际标杆盛会，为政府、企业、科研机构及国际组织提供深度交流与战略合作的桥梁。

九年来，世界创新大会在国家有关部委和广东省委、省政府的持续指导与大力支持下，已成功举办八届全球年会及系列国际会议，累计吸引来自100多个国家和地区的10000多名嘉宾参加会议，包括政府高层、国际组织代表、知名企业家、顶尖科学家和杰出青年学者。超过300位权威嘉宾在会上发表主旨演讲，推动达成多项重大科技创新与产业投资合作，国内外影响力持续提升。

目前，WIC已与全球100多个国家、地区及国际组织建立稳固联系，并与200余家跨国企业、创新型领军企业及一流科研院所形成战略合作。大会凝聚了300多位全球顶尖科学家、知名企业家和杰出青年创新人才，逐步发展成为集国际会议、创新合作、产业投资、智库研究、指数发布、资源对接及成果转化于一体的创新服务生态，为全球创新参与者提供从思想碰撞到项目落地的全链条、高价值支持。

WIC每年在中国举办全球年会，科技、经济、人工智能、制造业、能源、生命科学与健康医疗、农业、教育、资本、数字经济、文化艺术、贸易服务等行业创新前沿论坛。年会期间将联合国际权威智库发布《世界创新发展报告》蓝皮书，颁授“世界创新奖、创新商业领袖奖、科学家终身成就奖、创新先锋奖、青年创新领袖奖”等重要奖项，并发布“世界创新企业500强”“中国创新企业500强”和“全球城市创新竞争力100强”榜单等，为全球创新发展提供趋势参考与标杆指引。

同时，WIC将定期在全球创新活力城市举办区域峰会，包括香港、美国、瑞士、新加坡、沙特、肯尼亚等系列会议，并组织开展国际经贸合作对接、投融资研讨、创新公益讲堂、杰出青年交流等多种活动。大会并将持续在非洲、拉美等地推进“科技与社会创新援助计划”，通过创新方案解决当地发展挑战。

Introduction to the World Innovation Congress

The World Innovation Congress (WIC), established in 2017, serves as a premier international platform designed to address global challenges and shape the future landscape of humanity. Guided by the mission to “serve national innovation development, promote international innovation cooperation, and better harness innovation for humanity's benefit,” the Congress upholds the core values of “innovation, openness, collaboration, and sharing.” Through internationalized, market-oriented, and professional operational mechanisms, it strives to establish an innovation ecosystem hub rooted in China yet oriented toward the world. WIC aims to become a globally influential international benchmark event, serving as a bridge for in-depth exchanges and strategic cooperation among governments, enterprises, research institutions, and international organizations.

Over the past nine years, under the continuous guidance and strong support of relevant national ministries and commissions, as well as the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, the World Innovation Conference has successfully hosted eight global annual conferences and a series of international meetings. It has attracted over 10,000 participants from more than 100 countries and regions, including high-level government officials, representatives of international organizations, renowned entrepreneurs, leading scientists, and outstanding young scholars. Over 300 authoritative speakers have delivered keynote addresses at the conference, facilitating numerous major scientific innovation and industrial investment collaborations while continuously expanding its global influence.

Currently, WIC has established robust connections with over 100 countries, regions, and international organizations worldwide, forming strategic partnerships with more than 200 multinational corporations, innovative industry leaders, and premier research institutions. The conference brings together over 300 of the world's top scientists, renowned entrepreneurs, and outstanding young innovators. It has progressively evolved into an integrated innovation service ecosystem encompassing international conferences, innovation collaboration, industrial investment, think tank research, index releases, resource matching, and achievement commercialization. WIC provides global innovation participants with end-to-end, high-value support spanning from idea exchange to project implementation.

WIC hosts its annual global conference in China, featuring a series of cutting-edge forums on innovation technology, innovation economy, artificial intelligence, green energy, and life sciences. During the conference, it collaborates with authoritative international think tanks to release the Blue Book of the World Innovation Development Report, presents prestigious awards including the World Innovation Award, Innovation Business Leader Award, Scientist Lifetime Achievement Award, Innovation Pioneer Award, and Young Innovation Leader Award, and publishes influential rankings such as the World Top 500 Innovative Enterprises and China's Top 500 Innovative Enterprises,“ and ”Global Top 100 Cities for Innovation Competitiveness," providing trend references and benchmark guidance for global innovation development.

Concurrently, WIC will regularly host regional summits in globally dynamic innovation cities, including Hong Kong, the United States, Switzerland, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, and others. It will organize diverse activities such as international economic and trade cooperation matchmaking, investment and financing seminars, innovation public welfare lectures, and exchanges for outstanding youth. It will also continue advancing the “Science, Technology, and Social Innovation Assistance Program” in Africa, Latin America, and other regions, addressing local development challenges through innovative solutions.
