世界创新大会概况

世界创新大会（World Innovation Congress, 简称：WIC）成立于2017年，是致力于探索未来、推动创新、促进全球合作的国际平台，总部设在粤港澳大湾区。大会以携手构建全球创新共同体、让创新造福人类为使命，旨在打造立足中国、链接世界、具有全球影响力的国际新型组织，成为政府、企业、科研机构及国际组织深度交流与战略合作的桥梁纽带。

世界创新大会前身是2017年创办的“中国创新大会”（CIC）和2018年创办的“创新全球论坛”（GIF），于2019年更名为“世界创新大会”（WIC）。大会秉持“创新、开放、合作、共享”的核心精神，坚持公益性为主和长期主义的根本原则，通过国际化、市场化、专业化的运作机制和理事会、科学委员会、顾问委员会共商共建的管理模式，致力于携手各国创新力量，汇聚全球领袖智慧，凝聚国际共识，探索创新路径，深化国际合作，推动构建全球创新共同体，让创新成果更好地造福人类。

九年来，世界创新大会在中国政府的大力支持以及全球合作伙伴的持续参与下，已成功举办九届全球年会及多场国际会议。这些会议汇聚了300多位全球杰出领袖，他们发表了富有远见的主题演讲，吸引了来自100多个国家和地区12000多名参会者，包括高级政策制定者、国际组织代表、顶尖科学家、知名企业家和优秀青年学者。大会已推动数十项重大科技创新成果转化与应用，促成多项跨国产业合作与经贸投资签约，取得了显著成效，国内国际影响力不断增强。

目前，世界创新大会已与全球100多个国家、地区及国际组织建立合作关系，与200余家跨国企业、创新型领军企业和科研机构达成战略合作，汇聚300多位全球专家资源，构建起集国际会议、智库研究、产业对接、成果转化和创新评价于一体的全方位创新服务体系，为全球创新参与者提供从思想碰撞到项目落地的全链条、高价值支持。大会发起的“世界创新大奖”、“世界创新企业500强榜单”和“全球城市创新竞争力100强榜单”等国际评价体系，已成为全球创新领域具有重要影响的指标。

世界创新大会每年在粤港澳大湾区举办全球年会，并同期举办十大重点领域行业峰会及创新成果展示，涵盖科技、经济、人工智能、生命科学、农业、教育、汽车、能源、资本、文化等领域。未来，世界创新大会将持续推进全球化战略布局，定期在美国硅谷、瑞士日内瓦、新加坡、沙特利雅得、肯尼亚内罗毕等国际创新枢纽城市举办区域峰会及行业论坛，深入开展国际经贸对接、投融资合作、创新公益讲堂和青年领袖交流等活动，并在非洲、拉美等地实施“科技与社会创新援助计划”，以创新方案应对粮食安全、绿色发展等全球共性挑战。

the World Innovation Congress (WIC)

The World Innovation Congress (WIC), founded in 2017, is an international platform committed to exploring the future, advancing innovation, and promoting global collaboration, with its headquarters in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. Guided by the mission of jointly building a global innovation community and enabling innovation to benefit humanity, it aims to develop into a new international organization rooted in China, connected to the world, and with global influence—serving as a bridge and link for in-depth communication and strategic cooperation among governments, enterprises, research institutions, and international organizations.

The WIC evolved from the "China Innovation Congress (CIC)" officially launched in 2017 and the "Global Innovation Forum (GIF)" officially founded in 2018. It was renamed the "World Innovation Congress (WIC)" in 2019. Upholding the core spirit of "Innovation, Openness, Cooperation, and Sharing" and the fundamental principles of public-welfare orientation and long-termism, the Congress adopts international, market-oriented, and professional operation mechanisms and a co-construction and co-governance management model involving the Council, Scientific Committee, and Advisory Committee. It is committed to joining hands with innovation forces worldwide, pooling the wisdom of global leaders, building international consensus on innovation, exploring innovation pathways, deepening international cooperation, promoting the construction of a global innovation community, and enabling innovation achievements to better benefit humanity.

Over the past nine years, with strong support from the Chinese government and the sustained participation of global partners, the WIC has successfully convened nine global annual conferences and numerous international meetings. These events have featured more than 300 distinguished global leaders who delivered visionary keynote speeches and attracted over 12,000 participants from more than 100 countries and regions. Attendees have included senior policymakers, representatives of international organizations, leading scientists, renowned entrepreneurs, and outstanding young scholars. The Congress has facilitated the transformation and application of dozens of major scientific and technological innovations, enabled the signing of multiple cross-border industrial cooperation and trade and investment agreements, and achieved significant outcomes, with its influence growing steadily both domestically and internationally.

Today, the WIC has established cooperative relationships with over 100 countries, regions, and international organizations worldwide, and has formed strategic partnerships with more than 200 multinational corporations, leading innovative enterprises, and research institutions. By engaging a network of over 300 global experts, it has built a comprehensive innovation service system that integrates international conferences, think tank research, industry matchmaking, achievement transformation, and innovation evaluation. This system offers full-chain, high-value support to global innovation stakeholders—from idea exchange to project implementation. Initiatives launched by the Congress, such as the “World Innovation Awards”, the "World's Top 500 Innovative Enterprises List", and the "Global Top 100 Urban Innovation Competitiveness List", have become influential benchmarks in the global innovation landscape.

The WIC holds its global annual conference each year in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, alongside ten major industry summits covering key fields and innovation exhibitions. These cover fields including technology, economics, artificial intelligence, life sciences, agriculture, education, automotive, energy, capital, and culture. Looking ahead, the Congress will continue to expand its global footprint by regularly organizing regional summits and industry forums in international innovation hubs such as Silicon Valley (USA), Geneva (Switzerland), Singapore, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and Nairobi (Kenya). It will deepen activities including international economic and trade matchmaking, investment and financing cooperation, innovation public welfare seminars, and young leaders exchanges. Additionally, the WIC will implement the "Technology and Social Innovation Assistance Program" in Africa, Latin America, and other regions, deploying innovative solutions to address shared global challenges such as food security and green development.
